On our “Wild Yoga Hikes”, we will start off with a few sun salutations. This will allow us to bring awareness into the body and less focused in the mind. Then we will head out for a mindful meditative walk. Kristen will guide you on connecting and emerging into the energy of nature, while walking slow, before we pick up our pace.
We will be in a non- judgmental group setting. We are community minded, here to encourage, inspire, learn and grow together. There will be spontaneous stops along the journey up the mountain, where we will be taught various poses. Each pose that you are taught, Kristen will guide you into proper engagement, breath and alignment. It’ll be a beginner based yoga. Yoga is more than just about the poses. It’s about getting out of your comfort zone, while still staying in a place of comfortability. Moving your own energy through your body with the breath to relax into the poses. So it’s a perfect place for people who have never tried it to begin. All levels can join.

When fitness is fun, it is enjoyable, satisfying and pleasurable. We will find the perfect places to pause and do yoga poses on the way up and the way down the mountain. At the end of our hike there will be a short meditation. (Shavasana)

- This event can be booked with or without a trail run around the lake.
